PrimelDaily Prime Number Guessing Game in Six Tries

Primel swaps Wordle’s hidden word for a hidden five-digit prime number. Each guess has to be a real five-digit prime, and the tiles then show which digits are in the right place, in the number but elsewhere, or missing. It's free to play in your browser, with one prime a day and no account needed. There is no unlimited mode: once today's puzzle is done, the next one comes tomorrow.

How to play Primel

  1. Type any five-digit prime number and press Enter; non-primes are rejected.
  2. Green tiles are correct digits in the correct place, yellow ones are in the prime but elsewhere, gray ones are absent.
  3. Use the feedback to choose your next prime; you have six guesses.

Tips

  • The last digit of a five-digit prime can only be 1, 3, 7 or 9, so focus your early tests on the other positions.
  • Start with primes that use five different digits to cover more ground per guess.
  • Quick check: if the digits add up to a multiple of 3, the number is not prime.

We never post the answer to today's puzzle.
