How to play Metazooa
- Type the name of any animal and submit it.
- The game adds it to a tree and shows the closest group (class, order, family...) it shares with the mystery animal.
- Use the deepest shared group to aim your next guess at a closer relative.
- Find the exact species within 20 guesses.
Tips
- Start broad: a mammal, a bird, a fish and an insect quickly tell you which branch to explore.
- Once you know the order, guess a familiar member of each family in it to split the options.
- Remember that look-alikes can be distant relatives; follow the tree, not appearance.
